Standing Orders

Hope with Aston Parish Council's Standing Orders adopted at the May 2016 Annual General meeting are now available here. The Standing Orders are the rules which the Council follows. The Standing Orders guide the Council in legitimate decision making and help maintain transparency, honesty and openness in the way the Council works. Hope with Aston Parish Council's Standing Orders follow the model standing orders set out by the National Association for Local Councils (NALC). If you would like any further information or to request to view a hard copy of the standing orders please contact the Clerk.

Dates of Meetings for 2018/19

All meetings are in the small room in the Methodist Church Hall, Edale Road and start at 7.45pm unless otherwise stated. Meetings are open to the public. Please click on a meeting to see the agenda, this will only become available one week before the meeting and will be replaced by unadopted minutes approximately one week after the meeting. If the word UNADOPTED appears as a watermark across the minutes then these minutes have not yet been adopted by the council. Minutes are usually adopted at the following meeting For more information please contact the Clerk.
