Parish Councils in the Hope Valley would value your opinion about a proposed online supermarket and invite you to complete the survey - using the link below. The aim of the survey is to gather an understanding of whether local people across the Hope Valley would be interested in using an online shopping service where residents can order from a variety of local shops and have them delivered to their door by a locally based delivery service.

During the current COVID-19 restrictions on movement, Hope with Aston Parish Council urges residents in Hope and Aston to:

  • Look out for your neighbours: be aware of a near neighbour who might need some help or support whether in a vulnerable group or just in need of some help.
  • Visit the Hope Community 2020 Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/hopecommunity2020/ to request some assistance or offer yourself as a volunteer to help deliver essentials to those unable to leave their homes.
  • Check our website here where we will post regular information updates.

Dates of Meetings for 2020/2021

Due to the coronavirus, and in accordance with new legislation, Parish Council meetings are currently held via a virtual platform.

If you have any items you would like the council to discuss, or if you would like to attend please contact the Clerk.

All meetings are open to the public. Please click on a meeting to see the agenda which will become available one week before the meeting and will be replaced by draft minutes approximately one week after the meeting.

If the word DRAFT appears as a watermark across the minutes then these minutes have not yet been adopted by the council.

Minutes are usually adopted at the following meeting.
